Yes, it’s an old cliche. But like many old cliches there’s a lot of truth in that old saying.
But of course we do blink. So it’s always nice to have ways of keeping the memories of that special occasion, moment or event alive.
We live in a digital world where we share special moments with our friends, family and followers on social media, but what will we have to look back on in years to come. What will be the equivalent of the old shoe box full of photos taken down from the attic and poured over with glee, surprise and a hint of nostalgia?
This weekend 175,000 people are sharing an amazing experience in the middle of the Somerset countryside. Yes, it’s Glastonbury weekend and there’s no escaping it. Our social feeds are full of images of revellers dancing their wellies off, come rain or shine. Glastonbury weekend is like stepping off the planet for a few long days. It’s an amazing experience. But come Monday morning there’ll just be the memories.
Sadly, we missed out on tickets this year. But flicking through our own Printrbook of Glasto fun has brought the memories flooding back.
It’s great to have a special record of an event like Glastonbury to flick through like this. Fun times shared with great friends, in the palm of your hand.
How do you keep your special memories alive?
We were delighted when we were recently approached by one of our favourite blogging friends to attend the Blog On Cymru conference. The event is a mixture of discussions, practical sessions (on working with brands, photography and social media) and debate with a load of interesting speakers lined up too.
Sadly, other commitments meant we couldn’t attend in person, but we were very happy to be able to provide a little something for the goody-bags!
